What It’s Come To

In 1862, in his annual address to Congress, Lincoln said, “We shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth.”  In supporting and electing Trump, and in allowing him to remain in office, we, the American people, are doing what Lincoln feared —  not just losing, but meanly losing — the last best hope.
